The Walker Family

I took pictures of little Jolie a few months past, and now, I got the chance to photograph her family. The Walkers are good friends of mine. They are all very photogenic! It was fun to give them some memories that they will Cherish forever! Here they are...

Kate and Dustin's Wedding!

Finally, I have their pictures up! Life has been really busy for me. It's hard to balance family life, school, work, and pregnancy all together. Finals for me are officially over for the semester. Now I get to enjoy having somewhat of a break. I have one more semester to go and I will have my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. It has been a crazy adventure. I sure do love being a nurse- and I sure love photography. Perhaps one day, I may be able to combine the two...

Kate and Dustin got married mid November in Idaho Falls. The day of their wedding, it was snowing golf ball-sized chunks of snow. They were HUGE! The roads were incredibly icy, and the wind was picking up. There were lots and lots of car accidents that day. It was incredible!

There wasn't much time to take pictures out in the snow and wind. So we had to take every opportunity we had. Their wedding had a "John Deere" theme to it. Their cake and theme ended up looking pretty awesome! This was my first experience photographing a wedding at The Loft Reception Center. It is a very nice reception center.  I can imagine what it must look like outside in the summer. All of the outside was covered in snow and it was still pouring snowflakes which quickly turned into slush, so we were limited to indoor pictures. Having a handy dandy flash system makes a big difference...

The Miller Family

Happy Thanksgiving to all! Here is a special treat for you- especially for the Miller Family. You guys were awesome and very patient. 

For those who don't know, I am in my second trimester of pregnancy and  every once in a while I can get a bit dizzy and feel like I'm going to faint (because of increased blood circulation and hormones)... well that once in a while "thing" had to happen while I was taking their pictures. Haha! That was a first!It's such an awful feeling.  Luckily they were very patient with me. 

I happened to take these pictures during a snowstorm, so we had to take the pictures indoors. Don't you love Idaho winters? Anyways, enjoy!

Dustin and Kate

I hear wedding bells............
Here is a sneak peek at Dustin and Kate's engagement session. I am looking forward to their wedding. It is going to be very cool- they are having a John Deere theme! How awesome is that? Can't wait!

Jake and Hahna

December is coming closer, which means there are lots of engaged couples that will be getting married after the semester ends. I get really excited for them as I once remember the excitement I had when my wedding was getting closer and closer.

I love watching couples interact when they are in front of the camera. Romance is wonderful! Congrats to Jake and Hahna- you make a lovely couple!

Justin R. and Laura

Justin and Laura took me to a way cool spot that is full of graffiti.  There were lots of awesome colors and lots of words.  Who knew Rexburg had graffiti?

They are both very photogenic and not to mention-a very handsome and charismatic couple!  Congratulations and have an extraordinary wedding!

Bryan, Kelly, and Weston

This has got to be the best family ever! That's because Kelly is my sister-in-law. Who doesn't love the Mathias siblings? I like them so much that I actually married one ;) 

Our little son Benjamin LOVES to go to Weston's house to play. They are like best buddies.
